First-place winning project of the Housing Industrialization-Application of Modular Coordination Award, awarded by the Costa Rican Chamber of Construction, 2018. We seek to revitalize the southern sector of the Limón city, where there is currently a series of masonry buildings in a state of abandonment. The intention is to maintain the industrial character of existing buildings, adding a new spatial concept in wooden structures, which promotes modular construction, reducing eventual waste during construction. The architectural complex is designed by very wide and flexible spaces that integrate vegetation throughout the route, which favors natural ventilation and a pleasant experience for the climate of Limon City.
